Job description

It is a process of inspecting, cleansing, transforming, and modelling data with the goal of discovering useful information, informing conclusions, and supporting decision-making

A data analyst collects, cleans, and interprets data sets in order to answer a question or solve a problem. They can work in many industries, including business, finance, criminal justice, science, medicine, and government.

Skills and preferred

Real time work experience or at least a hands-on experience with two or more Data Visualization & Analytical Tools (Tableau, SAS, R studio, etc.)

Hands-on experience working on programming languages or database management systems (R, SQL, Python, PostgreSQL, etc.)

Known as a self-starter, team player and multitasker

Good analytical, logical and communication skills

Highly organized and self-motivated

Designs, drives and implements reporting to support the business

Collaborates with other groups

Provides feedback to help improve processes

Analyzes business data, providing assessments of trends, identifying and explaining variances from goals

Designs, develops and implements business intelligence dashboards and reports to facilitate data review and analysis

Proactively analyzes trends, causes and variances

Develops database logic to extract and transform required information for reporting or data migrations Working with technical teams
